2006-01-17       - By Rick Weiss

I am trying to install an Oracle Designer 10.1.2.0.2 repository on a
10.2.0.1 Enterprise database on RHEL

During the process of granting access to the repository user role, I
get the referenced error when granting rights to RM_ELEMENTS (a view),
the RAU (Repository Admin Utility) session disconnects and fails.

I get the same error when logged in as SYS from SQL*Plus try to
explicitly grant the rights

When I do a SELECT * FROM RM_ELEMENTS in SQL*Plus as the repository
user, it gives me 126 rows returned.

I had this same problem with Designer 9.0.4.6 on both 10.1.0.4 and
10.2.0.1 which are "certified" combinations as is my current one.

I have an SR open, but I'm between two groups @ Oracle support
(Designer and RDBMS) and never shall they meet.

Has anyone else seen this??

Thanks
